Look carefully at this photo, you can tell it's a boy.
I really can't see it on the picture, but you're right. It's a boy.

Now the mystery has been solved.

Don't worry Ghost, but that child is without a shadow of a doubt a transgender, in Italy there are transgender children, it's a shame that Italian politics doesn't agree. :x

I don't think he'a transgender. He just looks very female with his soft face and long hair.
And the documentary isn't about the transgender thing at all.

Ok, I didn't find any other information but I assure you it's 100% a boy.

The only thing missing was the tomboy scene.
The only way to reveal her gender.

Regardless of the verdict, if Siddhartha she were a girl, she would be beautiful.

When I was that age I literally used my long hair to get the cheaper tickets at the fair by saying I’m a girl (because they did that for girls one day of the week lol)

Of course it’s not fun when you actually don’t want to be mislabeled/seen as a Girl in another Situation, so getting shorter hair with puberty was a huge confidence boost for me.

My hair was about down to my chest area at that age. :)

But the movie isn't even about that. I'm not surprised by the PC comments about the transgender movement and how he couldn't possibly be a boy because he's on his stomach. (Thanks Sherlock). They most likely don't even think in those ways. He probably just likes braids.

Anyway, this is a really beautiful movie and I loved every moment of it.
