If it is HBO Max solely for a Polish audience, that is reasonable. But if it has broader European distribution, I can not IMAGINE them doing without subtitles! Of course the Germans are perfectly capable of quickly making a quality dub if they want, but that does not help ME.

56 seeders, according to bt4g. It is quite a long shot. As ghost mentioned, there's no reference to subs in the first place, and this link is also to another encode by the K83 group (699mb).

On it now! But I did volunteer for 3 at a time. I completed or deleted unfinished over a half dozen torrents last night, and one of THEM was over 20Gb. (Completed, not at all FLM, sorry.) Generally LARGER files are more likely to have internal subtitles. Do you have any 6Gb+ size files for me to try too?

Maybe you can follow German, but I would do just as well (poorly) with Polish. I may as well stick with that.

Would I be completely wrong to assume you are interested in this one, Night? I am happy to give it a run through whisper and see how the v3 language model works with Polish. I'll set up the transcription tonight before bed.

Do not assume that just because the torrent page says something is well seeded that it is true, or that supposedly NOT being well seeded is an issue. All it takes is ONE actual seeder when it is loaded in the client.

I am not sure I have ever seen an AVI with optional subtitles, and it is at least rare for MP4s. I expect more from MKVs, but I will try all of them and report back.

This is one that I would not hesitate to watch even WITHOUT any subtitles. (And I might even follow most of it.) I am holding back just in case we DO get subtitles. So yeah, if you wanna Whisper please do! You can always hold back on any cleanup work until after we have given up the search for pre-existing subtitles.

It very unlikely that there are any subtitles at all. The source of all these torrents is the WEB-DL from HBO MAX Poland. And they don't stream this movie with subtitles.

I did a test with Whipser. It is working pretty well with this movie. So it shouldn't be that much work to create subtitles. But I'm busy with a Japanese movie atm...

All the torrents I tried did not have subtitles. It is a shame that HBO Max did not share it outside of Poland: it IS an international company! Pillowbaker, are you interested in completing a Whisper cleanup, even on a basic level?

Yeah, I'd be willing, but like ghost, I have started a project already. Let's say I am nearly done with the first postable part, then I can take a look at some cleanup work.

I am, however, willing to share what whisper created last night. Honestly, I would love to see what ghost's whisper attempt came up with, so I can compare results. ghost, would you be willing to post yours?

Speaking critically, my attempt only churned out semi to mostly readable results, and plenty of seemingly nonsense (though some of that might be from google translate). I'll post it in just a bit.

Here they are. I am honestly not impressed with this attempt so far. I will try a different language model tonight and start another whispering.

Thank you for the subtitles and the caveats. I won't be watching it tonight anyway, and I think it is a bad idea for someone to try to focus on more than one project at a time!
