ghost, I really enjoy how you kept or improved the "warm" colors of the original!

If you are looking for a volunteer for the subs, I can take up the project after I finish up with Donkey Girl. The Mariken children's novel is taking longer than I expected. I might enjoy a break from it. Although I guess that is what I have been doing already. (nearly on chapter 12 though!)

If there's interest, I am happy to take on another subtitle project. It might take a little longer, since I am working on Mariken, but if these Swedish subs are accurate, then I don't have to bother with whisper and it should be relatively easy!

Curious, Mr. ghost, what is your process like with GPT 4o? Do you copy/paste sections into the chat window? Do you have to remove the timings first? Do you instruct ChatGPT to ignore timings if not? Did you get the API so you can incorporate it into SubtitleEdit's translation function?

Don't mean to be a bother, I am trying to learn more techniques.

Translation with ChatGPT is not for free, but it's very cheap (less than 1 $/Euro).

But I also use the chat ("real" ChatGPT) in my browser by copying up to 100 lines and asking Mr. AI for a translation. This works pretty perfectly if you give precise instructions.

Do you find ChatGPT-4o worth the cost? I can translate an entire SRT using ChatGPT-3.5 using a single command (no copying 100 lines at a time), or just with the web interface https://cerlancism.github.io/chatgpt-su ... translator, at the cost of 2 pennies per film.

Well I gotta check this out just for Liv Alsterlund
