No, I'm not nuts, at least, no more than usual. :bigups

I'm downloading the 2 CD version that teacher posted for which I got zero bytes until FLL stepped in. Hence my thanks go to FLL. :)

Btw. abel is downloading the 2 CD version too. So either idler's resharing the 1 CD version has been in vain, or abel is being greedy.

Does anyone have English subs? Seems there are at least two other movies with the same (alternate) title. :wall One of them is in Hindi, for crying out loud. :bigups

Well, before Idler´s answer I tried first the 2 CD version, and I got some results. Than later on after Idler answered my contri I added the 1 CD version to my downloads, but considerably later, so the 2 CD has some advantage. Right now the 1st part is already downloaded, the second is on some 70%, so I guess it has no more sense to continue d/d the 1 CD.

Guess I was the first to get FLL's 2-version-post complete, so both abel and you are downloading from me. ;)
As for subs, might be difficult. Several "King of Thieves" movies around, including "Robin Hood" and a Disney version of "Aladdin".

Well, since this movie's been somewhat resurrected, I remembered watching it a couple years ago and liking it. So I searched around and was able to purchase a US released DVD with subs. Hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. :pray

Using the instructions that you and others have meticulously laid out in the 'help' forum I will attempt to rip subs from it upon it's arrival.. :pray :pray lol Have a little mercy as it may take a little time; I'm an old dog and new tricks DON'T come easy.. :wall

But I'm gonna try!! :thumbsup (Unless, of course, subs are already out there and someone finds them first, then by all means go ahead and post... :) )

I'll keep you posted... (No pun intended.. Wait... Yes it was... ;) )

kev.

The quality of the 2CD rip is not very good especially when there is a lot of movement. :( I think the ripper didn't use variable bit rate. :bigups

Can someone who has both versions tell me if the 1CD version is better quality?

Strange, when I wanted to join both 2 CD files my Boilsoft Video Joiner reported "can´t recognize file format". But they both play perfectly in any player. Anyway, I´d like to join them, so any info about format is welcomed. I made probably a mistake stopping d/d of 1 CD version :(

Do you have the XviD codec installed? Some codec packs use other codecs for decoding XviD content (eg. DivX and ffdshow), which works fine for players, but not for recoding.

btw. why do you want to join the files? 1 file, 2 files, who cares. If it were many files I'd understand. Also, if you have them in the same folder, some media players will continue playing the next file automatically. BSPlayer, for instance.
