Citronleaf & Alex_kaplan, PTP means passthepopcorn.me, a private torrent site. You probably are confusing it with generic "peer-to-peer" sharing (P2P) like I generally do. Supposedly it is closed to new registrations. Sorry, but I am not a member of it and not a member of the also-private Karagarga site.

Yes, some are for free (like some short films), others only to rent.

I have not come across any private torrent site and have never registered , I usually use regular free torrent sites to search for movies
Except for the Polish paid torrent tracker, although it used to be free.

No. I am aggregating posts people create within topics I'm following. I sign up for a couple, but definitely not all.

Turns out it's people's requests in posts for rare movies that aren't online or in good quality. Thanks for the many rare movies you've posted on the forums, like this Israeli movie that I couldn't find in good quality.
I also from time to time check my list of rare movies, and maybe and appear in the network or torrents someday, now there is no, and tomorrow may be someone will publish it
