I know that I personally would be willing to SELL a DVD for that much money, but I would not PAY that much ... anymore. Unless I wanted to force a follow-up 1080p release.

Thanks! I’ve seen it; it’s right on the border to being way too expensive but still doable in my opinion. I would never pay 50€ for a dvd unless it’s literally one of my top10 films or something.

I will set up a reminder for various platforms like eBay so I get notified when there is a cheaper version briefly offered for sale. I also planned on advancing my connections to the French piracy scene more. Need more foreign contacts! (E.g. someone that can rip „Mon Pere Ce Heros“ from AmazonVideoFrance)

There are plenty of sources now. Disappointing quality level though, even the NTSC version of the DVD looks a lot better. This is definitely not an HDTV rip.
