1970 one is by far the best

Yes. Jenny Agutter, who plays the eldest girl in this one, played the mom in the 2000 remake.

Apparently the blu-ray was released in the UK a couple of years ago.(the movie 1970) Any hooo there are now two nice large size 720p on torrent if someone wants an upgrade or if they want to buy it Amazon has it at a reasonable price.
