Maybe Sunrise was the reason. I've noticed taht when I was connected to this server, I nearly had no uplpads (like ppl can't find me).

Atm the moment I am back to eMule Security. Be a bit patient. I'm online day and night.

It's more like 'Our Mother's House' (1967)' 'The Cement Garden (1993)', 'Demi-Tarif AKA Half-Price (2003)', 'Dare mo shir anai AKA Nobody Knows (2004)', 'Im Spinnwebhaus AKA 'The Spiderwebhouse (2015)', and other similar movies where a single parent mother has died (or is gone for an extended period) and the children work to hide her absence.

Except 'What We Hide' only has two (2) kids; Mckenna Grace as 15 year old Spider and Jojo Regina as 11 year old Jessie. AND it's not near as damn, freakin' depressing as some of those other movies are..

Okay, okay; the elephant in the room would be Mckenna's real age as she turned 19 June 25 this year. As filming for this movie occurred between 2022 and 2023 that would put her around 16 when it was made. Only a year older than the character she was playing.

(In contrast Jojo was 13 during filming.. TWO years older than her character.. The HORROR!! )

All that outta the way; I am in love with Spider!!

She made decisions impacting their lives WAY beyond her age range. And while the subject matter was heavy and depressing, Spider and Jessie never let themselves fall into hopelessness. I loved their sisterly bond.

This movie worked for me in ways that some of the other movies of this ilk didn't.. But of course a large part of that is due to Mckenna Grace..

Heck! When I first started watching it I didn't even know she was in it... I came across the movie on YTS and not FLM...

Thank you. This one's new to me, I missed it the first time around. Yet another great upgrade - you're on a roll man!

A slight correction to kev's earlier post. Mckenna Grace (DOB Jun 25, 2006) was indeed 16 during the filming, which ran from September of 2022 into early 2023 (production had to be suspended for about a week in late September due to Hurricane Ian). However her younger costar Jojo Regina (DOB Apr 11, 2011) was 11. They are currently 19 and 14 respectively.

Indie films often have longer post-production periods due to smaller budgets and therefore fewer people handling the editing, scoring, etc. Big studios hire more people, distribute tasks among multiple working groups, and get it pushed out faster.
