Which would make her 12 currently, and depending on when her birthday falls during the year either 10 or 11 when the show filmed.
Probably 9 or 10, since much of the filming took place between September and December 2022.
The casting was for a girl between 8 and 10.

One of the main filming locations for young Viviana was Castello Orsini-Odescalchi, located about 30 km northwest of Rome on the shore of Lake Bracciano. Filming here would've wrapped up in December of 2022 so you're right, late 9 or early 10.

The left image is from the show. The right one is an old stock photo, they've done a little redecorating with the statue and the greenery but as you can see it's the same place. This 15th century castle is open for tours. You have to buy tickets in advance though. The public can't just wander in randomly. So it's the perfect location to shut down for filming when you have young ladies running around naked.

It was designed as a fortress with living quarters for noble families. This was at a time when memories of the Black Death were still fresh in peoples' minds and the plague itself continued to rear its head every so often. A protected refuge where you could live and grow enough food for your family was just the thing to survive a medieval pandemic. Most of the first episode was filmed in and around the castle grounds.

For those who want the whole story, even the OFF-topic episodes --

All 6 episodes, with HARDCODED English subtitles. The optional subtitles in other languages will display at the top of the screen. At ~20 GB total, downloading will probably require avoiding the pixeldrain quota by switching VPN servers, or spreading it out over a few days. [Code] [Code] [Image]

Another FHD (1920x960) version of all 6 episodes for those who want all, even off-topic ones.

These files are much smaller and do not have optional subtitles and do not have hardcoded English subtitles. This should be ideal for Italian speakers or those who provide their own external subtitles. The file size is basically the same as Devil's Release of Episode 1 -- so there is no need to get this Episode 1 if you already have Devil's.

6 episodes, total 7.04 GB: [Code] [Code] [Image]

A few scenes have hardcoded Italian subtitles, when the dialog is Sicilian / Italian dialect.

Here are English subtitles from Relic's link; they seem to be machine-translated from optional Italian subtitles and are missing a translation of the Sicilian dialog spoken during the hardcoded Italian subtitles. Perhaps some day a proper and complete English translation will appear as SRTs, so they can be used with a "clean" version of the video.
L'arte Della Gioia 01-06 ENGLISH.zip

The files were found on eMule and well-sourced:

Anyone have this (at least the first episode) in 2160p? I don't think it's been released in 4K ... but it does no harm to ask! :D

I don't. But I have a different HDTV source from citronleaf's WEB-DL. E1 is 3.7gb, so slightly higher bitrate at 9mbps
