Is this another one of those threads where you're not gonna spoil a single thing and leave us in the dark.. Like you did with the Arabella movie

Caleyunior posted a long and detailed synopsis in the first post, a clip, and some enchanting cast photos. Isn't that enough? :)

Tf, that isn't a synopsis

That's more like the entire movie in text mode

Maybe nothing can be "Spoiled" after that? I just thought there was enough here for someone to decide if they were interested.

I have seen other movie summaries for this film much shorter than that one, at the various links posted in the thread. Caleyunior does say if he likes a movie after he sees it, and I have to respect him for not wanting to give away actual plot Spoilers. Usually if we wait long enough, a Wikipedia entry will tell all.

I'll give you a few more details to keep you curious.

Please read carefully what I am detailing about this very interesting film that ghost might definitely like).

I won't spoil anything, but this film is about three protagonists, "little girls" who call themselves (the mosquitoes) as the (international) title suggests. They face a transformative summer in 1997 in a city called Ferrara, Italy. They form a gang to protect themselves from the loneliness and absence of adults, dictating their own rules and experiencing their childhood as an act of resistance. They explore the adult world, together with Carlino, their queer babysitter, observing the complex and often dysfunctional dynamics of selfish, overbearing parents, gossipy neighbors, and fragile mothers, trying to make sense of what they see. These three little girls, whose names in the film are Linda, Azzurra, and Marta, have daily adventures, spending their days pranking, experiencing summer boredom, and engaging in curious little endeavors, like checking the poop of their dog after he swallowed a glass eye. Thus, their friendship was born by chance, becoming their safe haven from an absent or dysfunctional adult world. The summer they spend together isn't just a vacation, but a true learning journey that leads them to self-discovery and sudden growth.

To conclude, the two director sisters, Valentina Bertani and Nicole Bertani, with their talent and intelligence, came up with the idea of describing this film as a hymn to the right to remain young in a world that pushes us to grow up too quickly.

Too quickly, in the sense that girls are forced to "grow up" to fill the gaps left by adults, transforming what should be a summer of play into a precocious and sometimes cruel rite of passage.

Your teaser to keep us curious was MUCH MUCH more helpful and understandable than the endless "synopsis" copied from IMDB, thank you! I am going to risk a guess that what you wrote will also please Moonee, because it actually tells us something about the movie. (But does not spoil the whole plot.)

I didn't read that long ass synopsis in the OP because I don't want to know the whole movie before I even watch it
