This appears to be the best version of all the releases and the one worth keeping for this classic film

Unfortunately I don't have loverboy's rip, but I have this DVD, so I can make a new rip if needed.
BTW, another movie about the same place:
[REL] Die Schulmädchen vom Treffpunkt Zoo (1979)

Dramatic upgrade on torrent.

It appears that more and more old movies are being remastered onto
Blu-ray every week.

Which version is 138 mins? My DVD (bought ages ago) cover says "Uncut original language version" and "126 mins".

the original cut was 138mins. The last version I saw was 132mins - so that definitely exists

The 132 and 126 might be the same as the 132 might be 24fps->30fps and the 126 might be the 1/25th sped up for 25fps Europe, Australia, on PAL. You'd "gain" 1 minute per 25, or aprox 5-6min over a 2h12m movie - allowing for company logos and other variances and rounding up/down of seconds. But, it can't explain
three different running times, and one being 126min, without cuts.
