Er, sorry, I haven´t translated my previous statement concerning "Finnish only" films, "Fennica non spectantur", so "(films in) Finnish aren´t watched". Thanks Emuler for the link to subs, the movie is beautiful, but without subs hardly to follow, there´s a lot of converstion in.
I found lots of other FLM type movies at http://filmin.ru/ all are streamed and can be downloaded same as youtube. Mostly Russian or Russian dubbed. This one appears to be original language.
If someone has the dvd this would be a good one to do an upgrade on.

This is one of those films that I DIDN'T set on a shelf out in the open... And it's not where all my other Swedish, Danish, Norwegian DVD's are...
I've had this for umpteen years, possibly the mid 2000's and though I'm pretty sure it's in one of 2 BIG boxes, I've got to move a lot of stuff to get to them... A good 'spring cleaning' project, I guess..

What seems like ages but was only two months ago I was involved in a futile attempt to get original language versions of the later movie adaptations in this series. What a nightmare! However, at the time I made sure to find and mux the best version I could manage of the original.
