This television series was pretty interesting. Since episode 1 was next-to-last to finish downloading, it took me awhile to figure out why the boy always wore a girl's jumper and was fighting the other boys.After a stay in hospital, Tosia returns home with a shaved head, thus looking even more like her twin brother. Tom got into trouble and their father decides to send him to the country for the summer. Not wanting him to be punished, Tosia takes his place at the lodge instead, worrying about having to prove "his" manliness. Tom finds the note Tosia left and rushes on a trip to Aunt Isi's home near the lodge. He has no intention of playing with dolls and starts a gang which soon begins to train in such disciplines as spitting for distance and shooting with a slingshot.
Anna and Wojciech Sieniawski are Tosia and Tom. No OT and couldn't find subs, but the gender-reversal was pretty well done. According to http://www.filmweb.pl/person/Wojciech+Sieniawski-85013 a feature film with the same name was made in 1980Thanks Jacen. If there's only an added scene or two, I don't think I'll bother. Not really, but thanks anyway. The series was OK but not one I'll rewatch for awhile.
