There was recently a very weak signal from thelost in TLM (FLM: alt.binaries.movies.thelostmovies), but other than that thelost appears to be, well, lost...

I still remember those highly enjoyable flamewars thelost induced in a.b.m.kidstuff before TLM was created. Here is my favourite quote: "The whole fucking world likes our [American] movies. No one watches stupid French, Spanish or Italian movies and especially not Japanese."

It even went that far: "Right we should start a nuclear war... Hey guess what your city will be one of the first hit. To bad you wont live to see the outcome."

some people just never get out of the tunnel. fortunately we here can see better than most.

I'm sure most would prefer to remember thelost for something a bit more constructive..........

Anybody knows thelost as the founder of a.b.m.thelostmovies and LMA. Those flamewars were totally epic, though

The newsgroup and the site were specifically created for movies of all languages/origins.

It was meant in jest at them bitching about me posting foreign language films in kidstuff, not that I hated them. Anyone who knows me knows I love me some nordic and slovic movies

I'm never really gone, just dont have much time for the cuties as I use too, from time to time I will flood the crap out of LMA with posts, then no one will hear from me for a year. It's just how it goes for me

Does that remind anybody else of someone???

(A founder of a site who's passed the duties of running the site to someone else, and stays gone for long periods of time only to return and "flood the crap out of [FLM] with posts"...)

Should we expect a visit from Rich sometime soon???

Never met you, thelost, but my deepest appreciation go to you and Rich for the work you both have done in seeing the need and creating these sites that gather so many wonderful movies and the information about them together for others to enjoy and add to... (lol I hope that made sense...)
