Was that torrent actually better quality or just upscaled? 1080p format doesn't necessarily mean 1080p resolution.

No, all DVDs are not the same quality. Here are two examples of discs I've posted:

Mi faccio la barca, not so much - still a lot better than VHS but more on par with a satellite TV rip than what you'd normally expect from a commercial disc. Baby Love has a pretty good picture, not spectacular but decent. Where have you seen a DVD less than 3 GB? You must be used to disc sizes by now. All of them are at least that big, and some as large as 8 GB. The average size is around 4 GB.

One reason I like to post the full DVD (besides the fact that it's often the best quality available) is that this is the source material used to make rips. Or process using software to create improved versions, like Ghost does with his Topaz Video Enhancer AI. Of course he'd have a lot more success with the first of those discs I mentioned - Mi faccio la barca has such a noisy picture it would probably end up looking even worse after processing.

If you're talking about the full size remux I already have it. If you've got an .nzb for the full untouched disc though, that would be appreciated.
