There is a DVDR of a director's cut that's 128 minutes long.
I read somewhere that this contains both Italian and English versions.
Releaser's comments:
This version of Africa Addio was released only in America some time in the 70's. 45 minutes of footage was removed and it was retitled Africa Blood And Guts by its American distributors. I included this version because of the english narration which makes it a completly different movie. The Italian narration in the directors cut is very informative as to why Africa is fucked up (400+ plus years of racist colonal rule will do that to people) while the english/American narration presents Africa as a place where savages exist just to kill each other.
