So this was never released in Germany on vhs as „Lolita am Scheideweg“?
I don't know about home media format releases, but that is one of the alternate titles at IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082345/re ... t_aka#akasgoku33 wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 1:52 am So this was never released in Germany on vhs as „Lolita am Scheideweg“?
The German version not only removes nearly 30 minutes (mainly plot and character development) but also inserts sex scenes from Triangle of Venus (1978) and replaces the original musical score of the Spanish version with a new score by German composer Gerhard Heinz.
That sounds weird. That they inserted scenes from a completely different film. Wow..Night457 wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 2:08 amI don't know about home media format releases, but that is one of the alternate titles at IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082345/re ... t_aka#akasgoku33 wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 1:52 am So this was never released in Germany on vhs as „Lolita am Scheideweg“?
And it says:The German version not only removes nearly 30 minutes (mainly plot and character development) but also inserts sex scenes from Triangle of Venus (1978) and replaces the original musical score of the Spanish version with a new score by German composer Gerhard Heinz.
TrashPalace apparently used the Spanish VHS and transferred the video on DVD to sell it around 2006. it’s unedited/uncensored version.Night457 wrote: Fri Mar 25, 2022 10:00 pm I have the Christopher Lee one on blu, and I have seen better Jess Franco than that. The subtitles from this were done by Trash Palace, dunno if you've heard of them, but they used to release VHS and now do DVD-r. Presumably they get the best versions they can. Their site is up and easily found if you're curious.
