By the way, is the release year really 1974 ? Many sites list it as 1975

IMDB is at least consistent in picking the earliest known wide theatrical release, rather than the production year or a festival showing. Sometimes they are even wrong -- and other sites copy their information. What is "right" for this movie I do not know. If there are two different movies released with the same title in different years, then it matters.
