Darina Rolincová, born 7 December 1972, so she was 17 or 18 when Takmer ružový príbeh was filmed. She looked about 12 years old in the Zvonky Stesti clip.

I must say she had a very fine voice then - nice control and well-rounded, unlike so many very young singers. I became a fan of the French singer Priscilla (my avatar ) because of the quality of her voice - the songs were often "juvenile" but they were "catchy" and she has marvelous vocal control. Another singer who caught my "ear" was Amy Diamond from Sweden, but she didn't (and IMHO still doesn't) have the same quality as Priscilla or (now that I've heard her earlier voice) Darina.

There are some Darina mp3's on eMule if you do a search. Thanks for bringing her vocal career to my attention, jkecal.

Clip Zvonky štěstí is from year 1984. Karel Gott performed that time annual christmas gala exhibitions in the Prague hall Lucerna, transmitted by TV That year, he he invited Darina Roloncová as his host. The song is naturally from workshop related to Karel Gott.
This exhibition was real start of Darina career. But style she later accepted is different from the style of this song.

I've downloaded some mp3s of Darinka alone and with Karel Gott. I'll keep my "ear" out for more. Anjelik Moj (My Angel) was in the movie and I like it quite a bit. Fang Das Licht (Catch the Light) was, of course, the same tune as Zvonky Stesti (Bells of Luck).
