Doesn't work: joined srt are 2:48 long, movie 2:43. As an idler, I'm too lazy to correct the timemarks... lol

all timings in the subs corrected, individual parts hardcoded, joined, edited to remove end credits and re-encoded as wmv.
now 2.43 long with perfectly matching subs and seamless joins.

Simone is 12 years old. When her mother moves in with boyfriend Yngve, and her dog Kilroy disappears in the move, she cuts off her hair in protest. At the new school - because of her hair and a typo on the attendance list - she is taken to be a boy. On impulse she goes along with it and becomes Simon. Accepted by the other guys in the class, there are quickly complications as she deals with the advances of female classmate Kattis and her feelings toward best bud Isak ... which she can't express openly. In the middle of all this her beloved terminally ill grandfather shows up unexpectedly to spend his final days at home, among family.
Based on an award winning Swedish YA book by author Ulf Stark, this series stars
Lena Strömberg (12-13 yo) as Simone. Supporting roles are played by a number of lesser known actresses including 13-year-old
Christine Schiött-Quist as Simone's unwanted female love interest Kattis.
The disc contains corrected English subtitles. Whoever created the originals seems to be a native Swedish speaker who spoke English as a second language - some of the grammar was awkward, some colloquial speech was mistranslated too literally, so I went through and fixed that stuff. The subs for all six episodes are posted as a .rar file for anyone who wants them.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're
able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

IMDb files the series as "1988-1989" but gives the release date as: "Sweden: 25 December 1988" (airing of the first episode probably). The date is taken by
RareFilmFinder for the whole series ...
