I was away on vacation when this came up, just catching up now. But as soon as I got home early this week I reshared loverboy's version, so both versions are sourced, for now at least.

Both are XviD, the way the encoders dealt with the film's widescreen is different.

The file loverboy posted is 720 x 288.

The file ptguardian posted is 640 x 360, and adds black bars top and bottom to get the film's 2.35:1 aspect ratio within a 16/9 screen.

This file's torrent was labelled "audio resynced", which I can't really tell but the audio level seems better.

I definitely needed those subtitles. "give her a lick out" is a new one for me. I never would have figured out that line. English actors like to joke that doing American accents is easy for them because Americans "sound much like Irish." Ha! I am afraid I can't hear that. I had a tough time with these Dubliner accents!

How ever did their budget allow for actual Bob Dylan songs?!?!
