Last time I wore slippers was about 25 years ago. My friend got married, and he got the idea that the entire wedding party would wear matching fuzzy animal slippers. Unfortunately, not many stores are well stocked with fuzzy animal slippers, so we drove around for hours the day before the wedding, from mall to mall, finally able to find enough pairs.

At the reception we got lots of weird looks from the family and friends of the bride and groom, but I think that was the idea in the first place And we all had fun dancing in them. I suspect I still have them in a box somewhere.

Thank you FLL - a very amusing story. Slippers are something important - hope the slippers were a good start for your friend.
