Thank you for the upgrades! You did not say the 720p was bad quality, so I am hoping that it is good.

720p looks way better than the 1080p version, which looks like a poor upscale attempt, in my opinion. Don’t know the technical terms, but you can tell picture just doesn’t look good at all for 1920x1080.

Obviously I did NOT remember. Today I went back to look at the subtitles. They were riddled with spelling and OCR errors. I corrected them as best as I could using SubtitleEdit Fix Errors & Spell Check, although sometimes I just had to guess what word they meant and made sense in context! I then made FOUR SEPARATE SYNCS for the 4 videos I have. Match them up to whatever version you have.

Yep, all different! I think only one of them is due to a framerate difference, the rest of them because of different pre-movie production logos and such.

I am not sure of the source for the 6-year-old opensubtitles. Maybe there was a DVD with English subtitles and that explains the awkward OCR. If I ever get around to WATCHING this movie that interests me, I might find a need to recorrect some of my corrections. I think it is mostly good.
