Update.....

-21 deg celsius in parts of Scotland last night & -25 deg forecast for tonight. All eyes are on Thursday night when it is expected the UK will set a new record & beat the lowest ever recorded temperature of -27.2 deg celsius (-17 deg fahrenheit).

Not putting too fine a point on it, it's fucking cold!

the Forth road bridge was closed for the first time in its history.

Our luck here ran out.
Now it's our turn in the Northeastern U.S. to have terrible winter weather.
We had a huge blizzard yesterday.

For most of December, we were lucky with just COLD weather, not the horrible snows of Europe or the horrible rains of the American West Coast.
