Nice find by Corsarace but I have to admit it didn't do a lot for me. Not much action, not much drama, and not a whole lot of the cute girl either. 
Synopsis - Pete has a passion for aircraft modeling. Once, he loses control of his model, which crashes and breaks because a huge dog suddenly appeared on the runway. Pete needs money for a new model but doesn't want to ask his parents for it. Then the boy learns that a movie studio urgently needs a dog. Pete is looking for his shaggy friend and brings him into the studio, posing as a dog owner. Here begins their adventures...
