The fact this site is based in the Ukraine you are safe. Legally they could not shut it down, only block it from certain countries. This is easy to go around with a proxy.

Good to know you are taking care of us.
mimzy wrote:DDL does not make any difference IMO.
I don't like drawing unwanted attention here whether it directly harms the site itself or not, it may harm those who are not taking care of themselves downloading these links. We can easily link to the DDL site in which they were found. Just my opinion and it is what I plan on doing. I seldom provide these links anyway so it doesn't really effect much.

Good to be mindful. :)

Apparently the url I had saved for The wild Boys was linked from real boys so I got their warning instead. Thanks mimzy I have the direct link now.

Still good to be mindful. :)

“Representatives have argued that Ukrainian law does not give law enforcement officials clear authority to shut down such websites, although sometimes ISPs can be persuaded to do so,”
We are not hosting files and I am sure you are not easily persuaded. :icon_sniper

You are safer than say... hosting out of Germany. ;)

If you meant thewildboys they are hosted in Moscow now.
Of course Russia has also signed some trade agreements and promised to look into this copyright thing.

The last save countries will probably be Iran and North Korea.

The slime who want these laws will say "<gasp> If you don't vote for this bill you must be FOR child pornography!" and the crap add-ons will get passed along with it.
Hmm, looks like Lamar Smith attempted that already before SOPA:

And today I stumbled upon this:

"And, thankfully, some of that pushback comes in the form of people openly mocking such ridiculous claims. Smith points to an amusing response from Lukas Neville: "You can stand with false dilemmas, or you can stand with kicking puppies." Count me in for kicking puppies."

I will stand for the kicking of puppies as well considering none will actually be kicked. :P
