I always thought everything here would also be available on the US version
Plays fine with Mullvad on a US IP.
Anyway, I'm also uploading a VHS rip that might be an upgrade.

The tubi.tv link worked perfectly with an IP from the US.
Too bad it's only VHS quality.

To my eyes, yes.

Totally VHS. Tubi honestly left it at 369p rather than size-upscale it to 720p and cause false expectations.

That's an analog cable or satellite rip made using an old capture card. I used to have one myself, that damn line at the very bottom of the screen was a constant source of irritation. The mid-image distortions and oscillating tracking lines common to VHS rips are absent. That's how you can tell it didn't come from a tape. Rips like this are better than VHS but less than DVD quality.
Thanks for posting, Ghost!

I've read a number of your tech-oriented posts and I always appreciate them.

I totally believe you, deadman -- but I'll be darned if I can see the difference between that and tracking issues at the bottom of a videotape. Except perhaps if I had a physical tape and could manually adjust the tracking on the player vs. not being to do anything about the cable. What happened when analog cable was recorded on VHS, did it have two potential sources of an annoying bottom line? (With one permanent and the other adjustable.) I know I made such recordings in the olden days but I don't exactly remember the results.
I finally threw away my old tapes earlier this summer!

Freedom from clutter!

Synced to ghost's Tubi version:

VHS rip which is noted as an upgrade over the Amazon file (maybe the tubi one too?)
