I mentioned I found this back in November but apparently no one else wanted to release it. (In the
My Super 8 short thread)
Thanks Debaser for bringing it here.
FYI. there are lots of very nice rips under the English name

Based on real life events. 10 years old Austrian girl, Natascha Kampusch was kidnapped on March 03, 1998, on her way to school. She spent 8 and a half years under strict captivity by her kidnapper, and managed to survive one of the cruelest experiences a child should never have.

I guess this is a necropost. I am not sure I would care for this myself, but others might. Costars Amelia (Millie) Pidgeon as Young Natascha. I don't know how much screen time for the young Natascha, it could be minimal. Antonia Campbell-Hughes in the lead as the older teen Natascha would have the majority of the screen time.

Is this the "girl version" of
Michael (2011)? Only 8 years instead of 5 months. Too bad, time jumps are annoying.

I think "3096 Tage" is focused more on the victim than the perpetrator (from a quick glance) and I don't know if "Michael" is based closely on an actual event. Of course this sort of thing happens often enough.
EDIT: WRONG! See DreamScape's post below.

Actually, they are both based on the same real life incident

I knew the victim in Michael was actually based on a girl but I hadn't realized there was another movie that maybe more closely followed the story.

Thank you DS for clearing that up! That's a pretty radical change of 8-years-difference of captivity. I think I had heard of "Michael". (And I do not mean the John Travolta movie.)

I'm not too interested in 17+ yr old girls (maybe 16 yr old too but i guess it depends)
I'm hoping there's a lot of screentime for the 10-15 year old
