I didn't live in the US or UK, but surely cable TV is not regulated by the laws of the country and they are free to create content (OT I guess) the broadcasting of those movies could be done without the public complaining unlike ABC or CBS public stations, whether it was Mavri Emmanouella or Pretty Baby they didn't care if it was seen or not, and I remember Cinemax in the early morning broadcasting Flamengo or 25th flamingo.

The government hardly censors anything in the US. What you do see is self-censorship by the networks themselves, to avoid the wrong kind of controversy - boycotts and cancelled subscriptions bad! So the decision to avoid certain types of content is made in company boardrooms. I picture a scandalized viewer in the early internet days finding out that Livia was 14 and dashing off an angry letter to Cinemax. A programming executive makes a call downstairs. I just received a consumer complaint. Is what they said true? It is? Yank it then. We don't need the bad PR.

Or something like that.

Read my post in the thread dedicated to Livia Russo. It explains why that is.

Now it's clear that this part of the movie was shot by a completely different company. ;)

Livia Russo only starred in this one part of the movie, and she is nowhere else to be seen

The main actresses of these movies are Emmanouella (of course Laura Gemser and Sylvia Kristel) ;)

Exactly. It's a knockoff that happens to have a character named Emanuelle, played by Laura Gemser. But it's not the same character as the legitimate franchise films. This is a one off standalone. Livia Russo obviously isn't in any of the Black Emanuelle movies and sadly, didn't go on to do multiple sequels to I Mavri Emmanouella. :(

These things don't take as long to produce as most commercial films. You could do at least two a year. :D

Yes, it is a pity that Livia Russo, no longer seen anywhere in the movies Emanuelle, I would like to see a sequel, to see her as an adult :(

It would be like saying if I watch GOT in the first episode where Daenerys is undressed by her brother (and you know what happens next.....) and I don't like :x it at all because I'm very conservative and I send them a complaint...... if they really listened to the viewers we wouldn't have that kind of content in Home Box Office.

The more controversial they are, the more content they sell.

People shake the tree because it bears fruit.

GOT had millions of viewers and vintage 70s softcore does not have that kind of popularity. HBO does indeed pay attention to the viewers! If people complain about something that is not particularly popular, THEN it gets yanked. Being unpopular is the worst crime in America. Cable TV (and apparently the audience) is OK with fantasy incest among adults, no matter how young George R.R. Martin may have written the characters. Critics and audiences alike derided the sleaze of Verhoeven's "Showgirls" -- but they tuned in to see it on cable over and over and over again. Eventually the entertainment merchants figure out what sells and what is too much grief for them.
