Katty Loisel was 11 in the first film and 13 in the second. She did indeed develop nicely in that time, as often happens.![]()
About four months passed between Katty's 12th birthday and the air date of La traversée du phare. To have filmed after October 1st and done post production for a January 27th premiere would be massively rushed. Also, if you look at what people are wearing, and the background (trees in particular) it's clear filming occurred in the spring - the period in fall when people would be dressed the same way you'd have foliage turning instead of lush green leaves. So they probably had 8-9 months to turn the completed footage into a movie ready for broadcast. Makes sense.
Same deal with Les inséparables. It also looks to have been filmed in spring, for a Valentine's Day debut the following winter. TV projects tend to operate on shorter deadlines than a theatrical production. It's unlikely more than a year would've gone by between shooting and airtime.
