AND on the speed of the uploading site. Some are faster than others. Fichier and pixeldrain I think are faster than MEGA, which is faster than others that I can not remember because I do not use them anymore. Fichier does not seem to have a SIZE limit or a small download quota. So I can download one 24 GiB fichier file very fast. Downloading free from pixeldrain or MEGA I would hit whatever their current download quota is, I think around 5 GB. I absolutely prefer that huge files get split into RARs for either uploading or downloading from them.

I have never tried downloading TWO whole BluRays from fichier in a row, so maybe there is some kind of quota. I also do not know how long it takes to UPLOAD such a huge file to fichier. Somehow I do not think my internet upload speeds can handle it.

I seem to remember that you tried emule and it worked for you, even though it was not as fast as you would have liked. You can easily download and keep ghost's much smaller emule file if you decide you like the movie enough. That is the version that I keep.

Oh, you're in for a surprise

1fichier has a queue between downloads. The length of that queue varies by some means. Between 1 hour and over 24 hours between downloads.

It is not size dependent though. So yeah, downloading large files is more efficient than a lot of small ones with 1fichier.

Does the download speed not depend on internet + the file size

File size changes the amount of time it takes to download something, not the speed.

As you download from different places you will discover that many sites throttle the speed, often offering a premium subscription for faster speeds. Same with all the other limits.

They are not required to download and I leave them blank. Click the "?" for FAQ explanations, such as they are. You might decide they are useful if you understand it better than I do.

Scroll to the bottom of the fichier page where it is counting down. When it finishes, click the Download button.
