They are supposed to be 15... I recently asked Atli Óskar Fjalarsson when this was filmed, and he said it was August 2006, since he turned 14 during principal. His birthday is 10 auguste 1992.
So, looked younger?? As it turns out, Hera Hilmarsdottir had an average age of 17 yrs & 247 days during principal (from 17 years, 232 days to 17 years, 261 days old) assuming they took the entire month of Auguste to film it.
I'm thinking that "under the influence" was not the point so much, but rather: What would you do to prevent mental harm to someone you care for?
