While we're at it, how about some way of identifying the avatars selected by the members? We see many interesting pictures used as avatars; many of them I don't know at all; worse, I keep forgetting the ones I was told about earlier. Maybe text label underneath the picture (to be set by the member in his board settings) of even a pop up tooltip. What do you guys think? Or we could have a thread where everyone tells us something about his or her avatar.

I really like this idea. I am always wondering who a number of the avatars are.
My avatar is Katya from

There are already a number of movies on the site that only have a child in a minor role and only appears for a few minutes, or an actress that is over 18 playing the role of a younger person. If people try too hard to post something just to contribute, we would probably get more of this type of film. I really appreciate the people who may not upload a movie, but continue to share a movie after they downloaded it so that there are more sources available.
Sharing everything blindly is not a good idea either. When I started to use eMule, I was hoping that the I could share everything I ever downloaded and the system would prioritize shares automatically, effectively unsharing stuff with high number of complete sources, but it didn't seem to work very well. Downloads are often slow, because people share too much.
Many eMule users tend to share too much, because sharing is so easy compared to torrents. I think that is the main reason why torrents are faster

Why don't you let me know which movies you need? If I have the files I'd gladly reshare. If I don't have the files, then probably nobody here has them and we need new rips.
If Phuzzy is right that about 1/3 of users registered since August have posted something, then FLM is actually doing better than I thought. Most non-posters probably fall into these categories:
- cannot (or don't want to) use eMule;
- boy movie fans, who consider FLM a girl-oriented site;
- looking for some specific movie, not interested in FLM;
- poor English skills;
- too shy to post.
I think we need some nice general discussion threads to break the ice.
