I have used Urban VPN at times and it is good at unblocking for FREE the countries that it has available. However, are you then able to download anything from offstream, or do you just watch them? I have tried to download from offstream and reportedly only premium downloaders like Tubedigger will grab the files.

It depends, if there is something interesting that I like I download it directly from JDownloader, but without using Urban VPN, because with that it doesn't let me download it with private videos. I am not a computer genius, I have never purchased a powerful VPN. Urban VPN is the only free program I have found compared to the others.

Snake, have you downloaded from offstream.dk recently?
My old solution did not work anymore (gave my a punch of fragments instead of single movie file)

My interpretation of what Snake posted is that UrbanVPN allows him to WATCH geo-restricted videos in the browser, but it does not allow JDownloader to get past the geo-restriction and download them. If I remember correctly, that is also my own experience. As flmwayne pointed out, some (many?) of the videos are accessible only by paying.

Spoiler: So there are 3 things needed to download videos from offstream: (1) A free video, or paid access and a login. (2) A VPN to get past any geo-restriction for the computer, not just the browser. (3) A Premium downloader that will "find" the videos, like Tubedigger. Some such Premium downloaders may have their own built-in methods for evading geo-restriction for all I know. Just like you ferdi, I think I used to be able to download the free videos with standard free downloaders, but not for some time now. Those FLM members who have and use Premium services will likely share the films that interest THEM, but there is no reason to expect that they will download every single video. At a certain point the interested parties just have to fork over the cash for their own software or do without the other videos. I am cheap and I do without! That has always been my own preference. If there are any offstream videos that are FREE and NOT GEO-RESTRICTED, a free way to download them would be nice.
