Keep in mind that Amazon will often pair a review with the wrong product, in addition to the reviewers who manage to do so. Someone could have been reviewing some DVD somewhere that was cut, but it was not for the entry you were actually viewing at Amazon. I have also repeatedly encountered disc databases that do not have discs that I know exist, because I have them in my possession. It takes the effort of lazy users like me to add them to the site. Also, just because the back of a DVD case claims it is uncut does not mean it is actually true.
(I really hate to disillusion anyone by revealing all the lies spread by everyone.)
