Didn't realize yandex had one too. None of them give good raw results, if you're subtitling a movie that has no existing English subs you have to watch it scene by scene and title as you go. Most of the time even the most awkward and crappy translation lets you figure out what the character said. Especially with multiple crappy translations that mess up different parts you can usually piece it together. Tedious work. But the more tools you have the better.

Here's an interesting site I often use to crack problem cases that Google, Bing, and others can't seem to turn into anything coherent. It works differently from most online translators. You get a breakdown of the text into bits and pieces and a range of possible meanings of each part - along with example sentences.

Yes, it might be a possible upgrade, if you like hardcoded subtitles (not English ones, I don't know which language it is).

I rented it on Vimeo by myself some time ago.

The HDTV-Rip we have is of pretty good quality, only the sound is awful. The background noises are much too loud.
