Is it shared by RealM by any chance? That user drives me crazy with his super long queue and super low upload speed. I think in one case I waited for at least a year until the file was at 99% and the he unshared it
Well, dang, wouldn't you know it! He's in there, with 3 others, perhaps schmucks like me, still waiting for that movie....
Mostly I'm just too lazy to clean up incomplete downloads and some of them do complete after years. The oldest incomplete download in my queue is from 2014
compared to you we're all big fat quitters....
Meanwhile, if someone can get that stream for me from ok.ru??? I would be very much obliged, somehow 9xbuddy org can not get that .....
EDIT
okay spoke too soon, it's going 9xbuddy does it again. However, "low quality" is too much praise, way too generous! it's 78 mb for a 90 98 min movie???
Re: What is the longest you ever had to wait for a download to finish? UPDATE It's been 178 days!
Even with the low quality source, the ok.ru file is better than 78Mb!

here's where I am now. I even send him a message via the eMule chat. Let's hope this doesn't anger him or whatever....
[Image] I will look into the Mega thing. the Mega download ... downloaded, hurray! thank
I think I will STILL try to get the eMule download, just for the heck of it.
P.S. I thought that guy got arrested!?!?!?!!?

Kim Dotcom got arrested many times it seems, but he has great lawyers in court that keep him from staying in jail or actually being extradited. He also severed his ties with MEGA in 2015. His story is very complicated, but I can't waste time understanding it! Hollywood will probably make a movie of it, since they made movies about the Apple guy and that F***book guy.
Before it was megavideo, after his release Kim hit back and created MEGA and 50GB and I'm one of those who took advantage of that offer.
This reminds me of a cloud service called ADrive, which offered free 50GB in the cloud as well. I had four accounts there and júst when I decided to go on a tropical Christmas holiday, they decided to stop their business, or they keeled over, went bankrupt, whatever, canceling all accounts by January 1st, which meant I had to download 200GB worth of movies over a hotel internet connection which was so bad, it was essentially a 56K6 modem-like phone line. Adrive said they would erase everything by midnight 31 December... And the HDD on my holiday laptop wasn't nearly big enough.... That was great fun, good fireworks.

Any server that offers 50GB for free?

I am now downloading a non-OT movie, (so, nót a (N)OT-movie ....) called L'étrange château du docteur Lerne (1983), the most interesting actress in that is Anaïs Jeanneret, who might've been underage in that one.
I've added that one on 6-dec-2022, 3PM. So, it's four months and four days and counting. I'm now at 72,3%,

Update: It's 2 juin 2023, 11:16 .... I am at 87,4%.... Yep, that's 15,1% in 54 days since I first posted about this .... aaaaargh!!! or 0,279% per dáy .... the first stretch was with the neck-break speed of 0.583% uh day .....
For those of of us who are of the adding and subtracting persuasion: It's been 178 days, almost half a year....
I'm happy (???) to report the eMule download finished 12 octubre 2023 21:27 GMT .... It added itself in 0.7% steps , not kidding here. Last step was 0,3% and the file sat at 99,7% for at least a week.
File is 1.423.610.718 bytes or about 1.357,66 MB. So, the steps were classic eMule: 9.31MB
For those of of us who are of the "adding and subtracting "-persuasion: It's been 310 days, 06-12-22 till 12-10-23
I did get it months ago from other users, in the same atrocious "quality", but I thought to sit on this one, just for the heck of it.
