Ghost - do you think it could remove the non-transparent text of TV logos also?! It's almost the same kinda thing - tell it where a logo is. Use the image around it. Tried the logoaway tool in virtualdub - but even with the matte image it still seems to average it based on "the box" - which creates odd effects that look worse than the logo somtimes!
eg - the japanese text in the corner of Tenkosei,1982

The tool is specialized on the removal of subtitles (plain text) only.

I didn''t test it on a tv watermark, but I'm pretty sure it won't work. Also because a logo is permanent.

I think it would maybe work on the Japanese logo like this where there is transparent stuff behind it - I'm guessing it knows the white is text. and looks to anything behind it - and averages it. It's not reading the text - which could be any font, or any language, or with borders, etc.
