There was a time when cloudflare captcha was much preferred for me over Google captcha. But since a few months, cloudflare captchas can’t be solved at all for me when using hardened Webbrowsers that have stuff like canvas fingerprinting blocked etc.

And it’s not even entirely vpn related for me cause with less hardened browsers but vpn as well, the captcha can be solved (or it’s simply due to them recognizing my browser already lol).

It’s been really a big PITA. Too many sites use cloudflare … but yeah, funnily I sometimes even got more luck with using tor instead of vpn. As @Night Said, so many VPNs get mass blocked these days, reddit blocks like 80% of all Mullvad servers I believe.

What's the diff between the 2 versions?

By the looks of it, the 2nd link (censored) is a tiny bit longer than the uncensored link

There's even a download options on this one, straight from the site. From the talk about download programs last year I'm guessing there wasn't before.

Sheesh... I spent an hour composing my post while comparing the versions and then accidentally closed the browser before I finished it. So here is a quick summary.

Vimeo used to have Download links frequently. I don't look for them anymore, so maybe some new ones still have them. See previous posts by deadman discussing the censored content and Night457 for a few more details. I downloaded and played back the 1080p versions simultaneously. They have different color grading and different framing. The "uncensored" version looks like it has a filter applied so that the "censored" version looks sharper. The "censored" framing has more of the image both horizontally and vertically. Within 2 minutes I noticed they were out of sync but I had not noticed any footage cut. Either they were trims of only fractions of a second at each shot change, or one version is running at a slightly faster digital speed like the difference between 25 fps and 24.9 fps. This would be strange but it is possible with digital.

Screenshots with shorter unsubtitled earlier Vimeo upload ("uncensored") first and longer subtitled later Vimeo upload ("censored") second. They are paused on the same frame of action. (Sitting up / door closed.)
