Actually, the p stands for progressive - as in progressive scan. An i would indicate it was interlaced, even lines scanned for one frame and then odd lines the next. Whereas a progressive frame scans all lines in sequence for each frame. You get crystal clear picture in frame by frame and a better looking video overall (but larger file size). Most files these days are progressive, i.e. 1080p as opposed to 1080i, which was more common a few years back.

Yeah, I knew that, or I should have. I forget these things. Technically it ought to be 720pp, right? 720 pixels, progressive. Or in your example, 1080pp or 1080pi. But I can not expect the tech gurus to be consistent, or rational. Just like their damned constant redefining of USB 3.0 and 3.1 - but I digress yet again.

This story of a dysfunctional family features 13-year-old Julie Bataille, 9-year-old Candice Lefranc, 11-year-old Emmanuelle Boidron, and a whole assortment of background cuties. Including some wearing ... traditional French beach attire.

My bluray rip contains English subtitles, based on the ones posted by Ghost but with corrections. They are turned on by default but not hard coded into the video (I never do that!) so you can always turn them off.
