There are a few subtitles for this movie out there but especially the english ones aren't in sync with the movie. Does anyone know what's the reason for this?

Don't recall why for this specific movie, but in general subs differ because the rippers encode differently (a common issue being one includes the opening studio logos and another doesn't). Also there are different versions of the DVD in some cases which could be true here, there are different French and Italian versions. That's why when I posted links to subs above, I specified the particular versions. The subs with a particular ripper's tag (e.g NTK, Republic) should match the avi file with the same tag. I don't remember ever finding subs for the UnitedShare version but I did for the Republic one and NTK.

Oh noooooooooooooooooooooo.... the subs are out of sync though I have the French NTK version of the film and the NTK subs as well. It ruins the film.. and I was so much looking forward to see this..

MERDE!! Cant get it work whatever I try. Gotta get the Italian version then. I hate when this happens.

Finally got it working, subs work with the 1.45 GB version only!
Pretty girl, quite nice movie as well. Very French!

Starting at 6.5 minutes in, the English subtitles are 4.5 seconds early for the rest of the film. (I see complaints in years past about subtitle sync on this, ha!) I have now fixed this. I also changed the 3 occurrences of "Lo.i. C" and "Lo.i.c" to the character's name "Loïc".
