I always look. Spoilers are too much of a temptation for me. (I would push that button, too.) Unfortunately much of my time has been more like the irritable Ren than like Stimpy. "Read me a bedtime story? Read it yourself!" Love Bill & Ted too, and they have possibly my favorite appearance of Jeanne d'Arc.

When I started to watch this movie (after having watched the end line) and it looked like a school drama with possible bullying theme, I imagined that the father would organize a massacre to kill all bullies
So I seeked to the exact time (hoping to not spoil too much) and without knowing any context, I can suggest
Spoiler:
"Geh da nicht rein!" -- "Don't go in there!"
but I'm sure one of our native German members will have the definite answer.
Yes. That's what he said at the end.
A really good short film.

Yeah, I was faked out and thought it would go in the bullying direction, but it did not really. The father has such a small role in this one, but the father in "Alles wird gut" was onscreen throughout. That was a good one, and indirectly you were the one who led me to see it, mimzy. So thank you!
Thank you ghost for verifying that last line of dialog!
720p upgrade from RBB Fernsehen! Thank you very much, Kissonline!

720p upgrade from RBB Fernsehen!
It's not from HDTV, just upscaled. But the quality is definitely better. Thanks, Kissonline!

Yeah, I got the info from the screenshot. Once I got it downloaded I saw that it was not quite as much of a jump in quality as I expected, unless they were going for a gritty look. Still, it is an improvement so I was pleased.

Often these 720p Mediathek/WEB versions from ard/rbb are still superior to the old SD HDTV rips (often still XviD). Since old tv rips captured low quality while today with the Mediathek we get direct 720p encodes, even if it’s „just upscaled“.
I saw a YouTube trailer of an old film and the version was just regular tv version but still looked so much sharper & better than all the dvd versions ive Seen (even full dvd unencoded) most likely due to the fact that the tv channels/networks have & air the highest quality available to them at the time (sometimes it’s old films, sometimes remastered 1080p/4K versions).

Technically I would nitpick and suggest that tv broadcasters might have old telecines (film transferred to video for broadcast) of old movies rather than the actual acetate "film", but I totally agree with you goku33.
I am pleased with whatever improvement we can get, because I recognize there is not the time and money for the best quality for everything.
