Hi guys i've read this thread...and i don't know if there's the right place to speak...I've just rel(req)ease now the italian movie Il mistero del lago and it also called the turn of the screw but also i fount the 2009 version in fact actors are different

On imdb there isn't a synopsis then i translate from italian site.

As it turns out ART, this is the Italian version of 'Turn of the Screw' that was already mentioned in this thread. I've merged it to cut down on confusion. :)

Do I understand correctly that this is a movie what directors do if they don't know what to do/shoot next?

I am shocked to find that this thead WAS LAST UPDATED before we got Iván Noel's version of the story, La tutora (2016).

Some of us complain about whether or not it is faithful to the novel, I would like to see a version that combines Ivan Noel's version with the previous versions, I can say that so far this is Otra vuelta de tuerca(1985) the best version.
