Files unverified at this moment. Edit: both are now fully downloaded, they downloaded quickly, btw. The Behind the Scenes video is only 23 seconds, and even with a little bit of boobins, it isn't worth the download, but the Deleted Scenes download is 1m51s and seems to be the real deal. I wonder if there are more behind the/deleted scenes available somewhere.

I think I'll give them a shot. Or maybe I'll watch the movie again first and then check them out. But I might have to stop halfway to walk around the yard and get some cold air. Phew!

Trivia: There is a discrepancy about the age of the young girl played by Jane March due to the director Jean-Jacques Annaud having creative differences with the author Marguerite Duras. In the film, Jane March's voice-over states she is 15, but she lies to the man and says she is 17 before they have sex, which didn't happen in the book. In Duras's revision of the novel, "The North China Lover", the girl's actual, canonical age is revealed to be 14 - a fact she does not disclose to the man until after they've done the deed multiple times.

This movie is worth collecting the version with behind-the-scenes footage. It seems that there are deleted scenes. What I watched was the 2160P x265 10bit HDR version.The dark scenes are very natural and realistic The effect is quite stunning and it is worth taking up 15G of your hard drive space.

@deadman this is one of the few films that apparently didn’t just get a bluray but 4K/uhd release which happens not too often although Hamilton’s film is now also getting a 4K release:
