Argh!! I posted my dancing people too soon... I can't connect or something with emule. It says I have a low ID now. I don't know why- I haven't changed any settings and was able to connect yesterday with no problems. I hate, hate, hate emule! I don't understand it at all and can't figure it out! Can someone pleeeaase tell me what to do to fix it? I have not made any changes in emule or any of my other software or computer settings so I don't know where to start. Thanx!


Ooops. Never mind. It decided to work now...

A lowid generally means your port forwarding isn't working. A lot of times, a simple reboot - modem and/or computer - is all it takes to get things working again. It's also important that your PC's network address is static, not DHCP, so its address always stays the same as what the modem's port forwarding expects.



Of course, other times, bouncing it down the stairs a couple times can be satisfying too.
