Thanks for bumping this up, ART. This is a beautiful film, fully deserving of the tagline 'Harrowing'. Highlights how the French (mis)treated the Jews during the period when Nazi Germany was rounding them up in droves. I have a decent sized rip somewhere - if anyone wants it give me a shout. IIRC it is the anoxmous rip - 700MB, 720p.

BTW: Is there any deeper meaning in the strange uppercase writing in the title of this thread? :think

A very powerful film. One of the best on the subject, much better than "La Rafle" (2010).

I know 2 French versions, the first one is entirely in French but Kristin Scott Thomas dubs herself in French in some scenes, the second one (which I recommend for a better immersion if you are not French) where Kristin Scott Thomas, perfectly bilingual, plays in English (French subtitles) in many of these same scenes. Here, I guess it's the first one.

HD link (French original version but which one ? ) :

I don't know about the French versions, I only have it in German.
Anyway, thank for posting your version.

BTW: I don't share the 720p HDTV-Rip anymore.

Blu-ray rip in 1080p:

If Kristin Scott Thomas plays the American journalist then I suppose it would make sense that she might speak English in some of the scenes, even if it takes places in France. However, I know that *I* will need to read English subtitles for the French majority, so I think that I would find it less distracting and provide for greater immersion for it to be entirely in French. So if this is indeed the ALL FRENCH version, that is fine by me. Thanks! 7.95Gb!

... and ghost's upgraded 1080p German version showed up while I was typing! Great!

(* I had the post open a REALLY long time while I was reading and investigating a number of other posts too.)

Yes, but to be clear, Kristin Scott Thomas is a perfectly bilingual actress who has been living and working in France for more than 25 years and she plays in the film a journalist who lives in France, married to a Frenchman, and she has a French daughter. So it is logical that it plays its role in the 2 languages.
