I found those Portuguese subtitles also, and machine translated them. I then had to download your file! I just have not watched the movie yet to make sure they are OK, and I will post them after I do. I should have time tonight.
Of course if anyone is familiar with Portuguese and wants to correct them, that would be even better.
Wow, I am falling behind! I am supposed to be on TOP of subtitle issues!

Oh, don't worry about that. Subtitles are always welcome. The way I figure, if someone else does a good job I don't have to do it myself. At some point I'll re-watch this movie with your subs and if I can make enough improvements I may post my own version. Of course, someone who speaks French could do the fine corrections better than either of us ever could. Any French speaker out there who wants to fix the more complicated translations is cordially invited to do so!

When I get the film I'll have a go with the AI tool I use for audio translation - it's worked really well on the 2 French films I've fan translated previously: 'Inseperables' and 'La Petite allumeuse (1987)'

Unfortunately the dvd is maybe a cut version. Among the photos on imdb, there are two, one shows that Kinski gets the girl out the bathtub, and an other that probably happens after, but the movie doesn't contain these parts.
