I hear you. Just a thought: move the entire thread to garbage and create two new threads and retain the links and pictures. Logically, you have 4 options for each post in that humongous thread:
1. delete
2. move to thread A
3. move to thread B
4. move to both thread A and thread B

Or you can go for option 5. Change the heading to list the years for both movies and just leave all posts where they are.
