Its been half a day. 1/4 of the weekend and am no further to getting emule working. With the info iv found can I now open a door or are my eMule days over for no apparent reason?

OK, I need Subnet Mask, Default Gateway (no risk with sharing this)

OK so no pb with your network config. Try reaching 192.168.0.1 with another browser than Chrome...

then I think you have some firewall working. Windows firewall may be deactivated, but if you have another application like Norton Internet Security, then your problem is there. Any app you know about ?

You could make a Ctrl+Alt+Del and send me the list of the processes running under the tab "processes", could help. Sorry, but without being next to the computer, it's not that easy

im pretty sure I need to have security working. I use zone-alarm for firewall and anti-virus. I explained earlier that even with it turned completely of, eMule still failed, plus emule is set to allow sharing in ZA
