My favorite Bert and Ernie segment is in Episode 0430!
Spoiler:

Ernie & Bert — Ernie tries to put a pot on Bert's head. Bert asks Ernie why he's doing that, and Ernie says that he broke a cookie jar. Ernie has to put the cookies somewhere, so he put them in the sugar bowl – and put the sugar in the flowerpot, which meant that he had to put the flower in a milk bottle. He put the milk in the soda bottle, the soda into the fishbowl, and the fish in Bert's cowboy hat. Bert asks, "Now what am I going to wear when I want to play cowboy?" Ernie puts the pot on Bert's head and says, "Ride 'em, cowboy, Bert!"

It's true that Casimir is part of popular culture in France. I have just seen the latest film OSS 117 and in a scene Jean Dujardin with an erection failure starts to think about France, then the images of Bardot, the Concorde, the TGV, Delon and Casimir among others scroll through his head  !

Maybe you'll be even more fascinated to know that Casimir is the creation of its only performer, Yves Brunier, who also gives it this very special voice. When Casimir appears on TV again for a cameo, it's always him in the costume.

I have two wishes for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics : to see an appearance by Daft Punk and Casimir  !

Yes yes, DaveTheBoss, I also must know, did thoughts of Casimir help Jean Dujardin monter une tente?

I'd like to have some idea, just in case, for the future. ;)

Double wink in addition, to escape a snake placed in his bed, Jean Dujardin charms him by playing the notes of the credits of L'Île aux enfants !

If you want to see this movie with English subtitles :
